Accomplished and passionate researcher with broad contributions in mobile wireless broadband systems including 5G/LTE-Advanced/LTE and IoT systems such NB-IoT and CAT-M1. Contributed extensively to standards protocols and development and algorithms for client platforms and products. Research interests include power management protocols and mechanisms, algorithms for mac layer problems related to power optimization, scheduling, scanning, traffic modeling and characterization, context-aware techniques, application of machine learning techniques to solve client and platform level issues, application of cross-layer techniques for platform power optimization, machine type communications and IoT networks and Software-defined networking in 5G core network architecture design.
