摘要

•Synthetic histidines containing peptides with anticryptococcal activity.•Identification of amphipathic peptides 12e and 16d against Cryptococcus neoformans.•Peptide 16d showed IC50 = 1.36 μg/mL and MIC = 2.46 μg/mL against C. neoformans.•Confocal laser scanning microscopy and electron microscopy studies of 12e and 16d cell membrane disruption of C. neoformans.•Synergisism with known antifungal drug.
