摘要
•Deformed Bénard-Marangoni cells are observed in the evaporating ethanol droplet.•Thermocapillary instability has two transitions at 46 ∘C and 22 ∘C on contact angle.•Unsteady thermocapillary flow is illustrated by PIV and thermographic techniques.•Deformed Bénard-Marangoni cells decrease at about 1.5/degree in the second stage.
