Proceedings of the 2016 Symposium on Architectures for Networking and Communications Systems

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Twelfth ACM/IEEE Symposium on Architectures for Networking and Communications Systems (ANCS 2016). ANCS is once again co-located with the USENIX Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation (NSDI), providing an opportunity for participants from academia and industry to share cutting-edge, system-oriented research results at the intersection of computer and network systems architecture. Out of 58 submissions, with a highly selective process with about 20% acceptance rate, we have selected 12 high quality papers from USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. This year we have introduced a short paper category to both help quick dissemination of preliminary results, and to support smaller contributions which do not require a full paper format. Each submission was reviewed by at least three PC members, over a very tight schedule; in fact, due to scheduling constraints, the TPC work efficiently and completed their work just before the end of the year. The final accept/reject decisions were made through an extensive online discussion.
