Adding conditional branching operation to SNQL For Sensor Database

Wireless sensor networks have various applications, such as environmental monitoring, forest fire detection, pollution monitoring and so on. Sensor database systems serve the applications by querying the sensor nodes and collecting sensory data from the sensor network in ways facilitated by a query language. In this paper, we introduce some advanced querying facilities as an addition to our previous development of Sensor Network Query Language (SNQL). The in-query-branching facility allows efficient data collection based on various sensory conditions. These facilities will lessen the application programming burden and eliminate unnecessary query dissemination and data aggregation over the sensor network.
