Synthesis and characterization of novel type chiral skeleton heteronuclear cluster compounds

The reaction of the monoanion [η5-C5H4R(CO)3W]-with SFeCo2(CO)9 yields the new clusters SFeCoW(CO)8RC5H4[R=C6H 5C(O), CH3O(O)CC6H4C(O)]. The clusters were characterized by C/H analysis, IR, 1H NMR and the cluster SFeCoW(CO)8C5H4C(O)C6H 4C(O)OCH3 was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
