Bodo Parady, a physicist by inclination, with a Ph.D. from Minnesota and a Post-Doctoral at UC Berkeley, is now a computer performance engineer studying the limits of computation and their relation to computer architectures. He is Sun\'s technical representative to SPEC (Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation).
