2 Karl Schultz (Chief Musician Karl Schultz, a native of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, earned his Bachelor of Music degree in euphonium performance from Mansfield University in 1992. He studied with Donald A. Stanley and Stephen P. McEuen. Chief Schultz\'s musical and military experience is quite diverse. He enlisted in the Army in 1993, and was the euphonium soloist with the Continental Army Band at Fort Monroe, Virginia from 1993 until 1996. He was a featured soloist on their compact disc entitled "Spirit of Victory." During this time he was a member of the Dominion Brass Band and the Mill Creek Silver Quartette. He also performed with the Virginia Symphony and the Tidewater Winds. From 1990-93 Schultz performed with the German Band at Busch Gardens Williamsburg)
